Cancer trials: check benefit, harm and eligibility

The October 30 briefing reviews a liver-cancer trial launch, a lung-cancer study and an international glioma trial expansion.

Three things to know

  1. Junshi reported first-patient dosing in a Phase 3 study of JS207 plus JS007 for advanced liver cancer. Starting the trial does not provide Phase 3 efficacy results.

  2. In the reported unresectable NSCLC study after chemoradiotherapy, benmelstobart improved progression-free survival versus placebo. Adding anlotinib did not significantly improve that endpoint over benmelstobart alone and increased serious or fatal treatment-related adverse events.

  3. Nuvation Bio announced plans to expand its Phase 3 SIGMA trial of investigational safusidenib for IDH1-mutant glioma to six European countries. China was already included; recruitment at specific centers and patient eligibility require separate confirmation.

This is a dated video briefing. Reports and availability may have changed since it was recorded; confirm current details before making plans.
