Partnerships for organisations and referral teams

From first enquiry to the journey home

Eight practical stages.

Your visit may need all of these stages or only a few. The agreed service scope determines what our team arranges.

  1. 01

    Start with a conversation

Tell us about the practical support you are looking for: destination, travel preferences, a companion or language needs. Keep the enquiry general and do not send medical records.

Agree what you want help arranging.

  2. 02

    Connect with an independent provider

We help with introductions and administrative contact. The provider explains its process and tells you how to send any required records directly through its approved channel.

Confirm the hospital, campus, department and contact channel.

  3. 03

    Plan the journey to China

Once the provider confirms the relevant arrangements, plan flights, travel dates, accommodation and airport transfers. Check booking flexibility before committing.

Build the itinerary around confirmed arrangements.

  4. 04

    Prepare language support

Discuss the language needed for travel and administrative tasks. Ask the hospital separately about qualified medical interpretation and any associated fees.

Make language responsibilities clear before arrival.

  5. 05

    Arrange arrival and local travel

Coordinate airport transfers, accommodation and transport to the correct campus. A companion may need a separate itinerary or practical support.

Keep addresses and arrival instructions easy to find.

  6. 06

Adjust the stay when plans change

We assist with accommodation and transport changes during the stay. Your provider gives all treatment, recovery and rehabilitation advice.

Confirm extensions and supplier charges before making changes.

  7. 07

    Prepare the journey home

Arrange the return trip around your provider’s discharge instructions and advice about fitness to travel. Check any airline requirements directly.

Keep clinical instructions with your treating team.

  8. 08

    Plan future visits

If your provider schedules another appointment, we can assist with travel and administrative arrangements again. Medical follow-up and record review remain with the provider.

Separate future travel planning from medical follow-up.

Shape the support around your trip

Start with the practical details.

  • Your preferred city and the provider’s confirmed location
  • Travel dates, flexibility and likely accommodation needs
  • Whether a companion is travelling with you
  • Airport transfers, local transport and accessibility arrangements
  • Language support for travel and administrative communication
  • The scope, supplier charges and coordination fees to agree

Who handles each part?

Referral Support

Connections to independent providers

Helps with provider referrals and administrative contact without examining records, assessing suitability, or giving medical advice.

Travel Coordinator

Travel arrangements and logistics

Coordinates travel, accommodation, local transport, and practical arrangements for seeking care in China.

Culture & Language Guide

Non-clinical context

Assists with language and cultural logistics. Qualified professionals remain responsible for medical interpretation and patient care.

Independent hospitals and licensed clinicians decide acceptance, clinical suitability, treatment, discharge and follow-up. Medical2China does not make those decisions or examine medical records.

Start with a practical question.
