The useful starting point
Ask the hospital which services are available at the exact clinic and campus: appointment support, the language used during the visit, interpreter arrangements, payment methods and insurance billing. Record what is confirmed and when. An international-services label alone does not answer these questions.
From an official source
One official example, with local limits
Beijing’s official medical guide describes language services, outpatient appointment channels, payment methods and commercial-insurance direct billing. It tells readers to check each institution’s insurer arrangements. This is guidance for Beijing; it does not confirm a particular clinic’s services or establish a nationwide rule.
Our checking method
Ask about each step of the visit
Ask these questions through a contact channel linked from the institution’s official website. Request administrative information only; do not send records or identifying medical details to Medical2China.
- Booking: which official channel accepts appointments for this clinic?
- Location: what are the campus name, building and registration desk?
- Language: which language is available for booking, consultation, payment and follow-up questions?
- Interpreting: is an interpreter available, how is one arranged, and is there a separate charge?
- Payment: what are the consultation fee, deposit rules, cancellation terms and accepted payment methods?
- Insurance: do both the hospital and insurer confirm the arrangement for this clinic and policy?
Our checking method
Keep a confirmation note
Save the official page link, the date checked and the service desk’s reply in your own notes. Separate a published policy from a confirmed appointment. If language support or billing remains unclear, leave it as an open question and clarify it before making travel commitments.

A message you can adapt
