Cost planning

Plan your medical travel budget for China.

Separate hospital fees from flights, accommodation, language support and coordination. Use your own quotes to build an anonymous trip budget.

What belongs in a medical trip budget?

01

The independent provider’s quote

Ask the hospital or clinician for a current written quote. Confirm the proposed scope, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule and circumstances that could change the amount.

  • Which consultations, tests or procedures are included?
  • Are medicines, supplies and accommodation charges separate?
  • What deposit, cancellation and refund terms apply?
  • Which charges require separate insurer confirmation?
02

Travel, accommodation and service fees

Budget separately for flights, accommodation, a companion, transport and language support. Ask us to confirm the agreed coordination scope and fee.

  • How long should you reserve accommodation for?
  • What would a date change or extended stay cost?
  • Are airport transfers and local journeys included?
  • What will a travelling companion need?

Add meals, a companion’s costs and any visa or insurance costs to “Other costs & personal buffer”.

Enter each cost once; do not add a supplier charge again if it is already included in an agreed coordination fee.

Your figures, in one place

Build your China travel budget

Enter amounts you have obtained yourself. This tool adds your figures; it does not estimate medical fees or convert currencies. Leave unknown amounts blank.

Confirm hospital fees and coordination fees separately.

A procedure name alone cannot establish a comparable price. Compare written scopes, what is excluded, the expected travel commitment and arrangements if plans change.

Medical fees and supplier charges are confirmed by the responsible provider. We confirm our service scope and any fees before you agree to arrangements.
