Trial recruitment: check eligibility and the evidence

The October 8 briefing covers an early CAR-T trial, a lung cancer study result and biotech investment. These signals do not establish a treatment route for international patients.

Three things to know

  1. The GI001 registry record describes early research and recruitment. It does not verify international patient eligibility or report efficacy results. Confirm actual enrollment, the responsible research team, payment arrangements, required stays and follow-up before travel.

  2. ArriVent reported that FURVENT missed its prespecified primary progression-free survival endpoint in first-line EGFR exon 20 insertion lung cancer. A higher response rate does not establish progression-free or overall survival benefit. The finding concerns that studied setting.

  3. TCGX’s Asia fund signals investment in drug development. A financing announcement does not confirm that a therapy is approved, a study is enrolling international patients or care is available.

This is a dated video briefing. Reports and availability may have changed since it was recorded; confirm current details before making plans.
