The useful starting point
Compare the same factual fields across profiles: official name, institution, campus, department, stated role, source and date checked. Keep the institution’s wording for professional interests. A profile can help you prepare questions, but it cannot establish clinical suitability or appointment availability.
From an official source
Start with the institution’s information
Article 6 of China’s medical-institution information-disclosure measures includes institutional details, department locations, staff identification, services, service processes, prices and consultation channels among its disclosure categories. These categories provide a useful starting point for finding administrative information.

Our checking method
Separate the fields before comparing
A short biography can mix several different claims. Write each one separately and keep its source alongside it.
- Name and institution: check the original name, hospital and campus together.
- Department and role: preserve the official wording; label a translation as a translation.
- Professional interests: record what the source says without turning it into a treatment recommendation.
- Schedule: check the current official booking channel separately from the biography.
- Evidence: keep the page URL and date checked for each fact; label missing or conflicting details.
Our checking method
Handle conflicting information openly
If two pages disagree about a campus, department or role, keep both links and their dates. Ask the institution which information is current. Do not merge two people because their translated names look alike, or assume a missing English page means a service is unavailable.
Our checking method
What a comparison cannot decide
Our method does not infer outcomes, availability, language fluency or a best doctor from a title or biography. Use the comparison to identify questions and evidence gaps. Clinical decisions belong with an independently selected licensed clinician.
