Before treatment abroad, verify the plan

A hospital name is a starting point. The clinician, written estimate and follow-up plan need checking too.

Three things to know

  1. This briefing discusses a commercial facilitator’s verification checklist. Its marketing claims are not independent evidence of prices, savings or treatment availability.

  2. Confirm the doctor’s current affiliation through the hospital. Clinical assessment belongs to a qualified specialist; a missing English profile alone does not prove a doctor is fake.

  3. Ask for an itemized written estimate, confirm the payment recipient and clarify which discharge documents and follow-up arrangements will be provided.

This is a dated video briefing. Reports and availability may have changed since it was recorded; confirm current details before making plans.
